Biography
Judith Nelson's journey began in Haiti, where she was born and raised. In 2009, she took a courageous step to immigrate to the United States, seeking a brighter future. Judith's educational path reflects her deep commitment to serving others; she earned her high school diploma and advanced her studies with an Associate's degree in General Science, followed by a Bachelor's in Public Health. She is pursuing dual master's degrees in Public Health and Public Administration, driven by her desire to make a meaningful impact in the world.
Throughout her varied career, Judith has embraced many roles, each one highlighting her passion for helping others. As a human rights consultant, health and wellness coach, certified wealth educator, CPR instructor, certified business consultant, youth mentor, and Sunday school teacher, she has touched the lives of countless individuals. Her work as a plus-size model and published author also showcases her commitment to embracing diversity and sharing her story.

Judith's heart lies in healthcare, where she has dedicated over a decade to caring for others as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and she also work as an elite staff trainer, providing the cutting-edge training enable the staff to provide the best care for each client.. Her remarkable compassion shines through in her work, especially in her commitment to family caregiving. She understands the importance of enhancing the quality of life for senior citizens, making her an invaluable presence in her community.
A significant influence in Judith's life was her mother, Cloucite Gelin Nelson, whose open-door policy welcomed many into their home, providing prayers, meals, and shelter. Her mother’s selfless spirit embodied hope, nurturing a sense of community that resonated beyond their own home.
When Judith and her mother migrated to the United States, it was a challenging transition. Shortly after their arrival, Judith had the profound honor of becoming her mother’s caregiver as she faced serious health challenges. Witnessing her mother’s remarkable resilience inspired Judith to pursue a career in medicine. With the encouragement of a supportive doctor, Barber Nathaniel, from the Jersey City Medical Center, Judith channeled her determination into her studies in the sciences and public health.

Today, Judith intertwines her personal and professional life by caring for her mother while supporting senior citizens through her work at Senior First Elevation Homecare.
